How to Delete Your Data from Buzzator

Effective Date: May 4th, 2026

This page explains how to permanently delete your personal data and any data Buzzator has received from connected platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, and others) on your behalf.

Method 1 — Delete from inside Buzzator (recommended)

  1. Sign in to your Buzzator account at https://app.buzzator.com.
  2. Open Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion request.

Within 30 days, Buzzator will permanently erase:

  • Your account profile, brand workspaces, and uploaded brand documents.
  • All scheduled and historical posts.
  • All OAuth tokens and credentials for connected platforms.
  • All cached profile data, post analytics, and engagement metrics retrieved from connected platforms.
  • All comment and message data from the unified inbox.

Encrypted database backups are rotated and fully overwritten within 30 to 90 days after deletion from the live environment, in line with our standard backup retention schedule.

Method 2 — Email request

If you cannot access your account, email [email protected] from the address associated with your Buzzator account. Include:

  • The full name on the account.
  • The email address used to register.
  • Confirmation that you wish to permanently delete all data.

We respond within 30 days as required by GDPR Article 17.

Method 3 — Disconnect a single platform

If you only want to revoke Buzzator's access to a specific connected platform (for example, just Facebook) without deleting your Buzzator account:

  1. Open Settings → Integrations in Buzzator.
  2. Click Disconnect on the platform you want to remove.

This deletes the OAuth tokens for that platform immediately and stops Buzzator from accessing any further data from it. You can also revoke access from the platform's own settings page — for example, Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.

What We Cannot Delete

  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics that no longer identify you personally.
  • Records we are legally required to retain — for example, financial transaction records for tax purposes, typically up to 7 years (see our Privacy Policy, Section 9).
  • Data shared on third-party platforms — for example, posts already published to your Facebook Page remain on Facebook unless you also delete them there. Buzzator can only delete its own copies.

Contact

For any questions about this process, email [email protected]. EU/UK and Canada residents may also contact our regional representatives — see Section 17.3 of our Privacy Policy for details.
